Derrick Barges / Vessels

Our Offshore Division has installed and dismantled hundreds of offshore platforms in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

Each Derrick Barge is capable of anchoring in approximately 450′ of water depth with its own system. Depths in excess of 1,000′ can be accomplished with the use of pre-set anchors. OSF can also perform dual lifts in excess of 2,500 tons using our DB-Swing Thompson and DB-William Kallop.

Each barge is equipped with satellite phones and television. OSF owns and operates derrick barges, cargo barges, tugs, anchor handling tugs, supply vessels, utility vessels and crew boats.
